Complete manuscript of "Elkanah Watson, Gentleman-Promoter", and incomplete manuscript of same, several printed bibliographic items regarding American agriculture by Edward Everett, and material related to Samuel Talmage. The collection also includes a manuscript of Fairs of Europe, notes related to Watson and a photograph of Watson. The manuscript was written in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Ph.d at Columbia University in 1947.
